ADOPTIONS

At Wolf Song Acres K9 Academy, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of rescue animals. In collaboration with Country Road Animal Rescue, located in Waynesboro, Tennessee, we take on some of their more challenging cases to help these dogs find their forever homes. Our role includes:

Potty Training: We work on establishing a consistent routine and teaching the dogs to understand where and when it is appropriate to relieve themselves.
House Training: Our focus is on helping dogs adapt to living indoors, teaching them basic manners, and ensuring they are comfortable and well-behaved in a home environment.
Obedience Training: We provide foundational obedience training, including commands like sit, stay, and come, which are essential for a well-behaved pet.

By providing these services, we help increase the adoptability of these dogs, ensuring they are well-prepared for life in their new homes. Our goal is to give these dogs a second chance and support Country Road Animal Rescue in their mission to rescue and rehome animals in need.

Country Road Animal Rescue

Country Road Animal Rescue, based in Waynesboro, Tennessee, is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. As the only form of animal control in the county, they play a crucial role in the community by providing a safe haven for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. Their mission includes:

Rescue: They actively rescue animals from dire situations, ensuring they receive the medical care and attention they need.
Rehabilitation: Country Road Animal Rescue provides the necessary rehabilitation for animals, including medical treatment, socialization, and behavioral training.

Adoptions

At Wolf Song Acres K9 Academy, we strive to find loving, permanent homes for our rescue animals. Each dog that comes into our care undergoes thorough training, including potty training, house training, and basic obedience, to ensure they are well-prepared for adoption. Spay and Neuter

To promote responsible pet ownership and control the pet population, CRAR offers free spay and neuter vouchers. These vouchers are available to Wayne County TN residents only, covering the cost of these important procedures. Spaying and neutering not only help prevent unwanted litters but also offer numerous health and behavioral benefits for your pets. Drew

Adult Male

~ 3 Years Old

Neuter Date: Oct 6th, 2026

UTD on all vaccinations and deworming. Came from a hoarder seizing situation and is shy with people but is sweet once he warms up to you. Great around other dogs, cats, and livestock. Has a good recall off leash and walks nicely on leash. Is potty trained, crate trained and has been good being left loose in the foster's house. Currently being fostered by WSA K9

Mira

Adult Female

~ 1 Year Old

Spay Date: March 4th, 2026

UTD on all vaccinations and deworming. Was heartworm POSITIVE but has been treated. Will be going back for testing to check on her condition. Otherwise, Mira is a very happy girl, she even smiles! Mira is shy with new people but LOVES attention once she has warmed up to you. Has a fantastic recall off leash, is good to walk on leash. Great around other dogs, cats, and livestock. Is potty trained and crate trained. cannot be left loose unattended in the house. Was rescued together with Drew. Currently being fostered by WSA K9

Adult Male

~ 2 years old

Neuter Date: Oct 6th, 2026

Weight: 50 lbs

UTD on all vaccinations and deworming. Was an owner surrender. Has a fantastic recall off leash, good around other dogs, cats (so long as they don't run from him), and livestock. Absolutely LOVES attention, has never met a stranger. His only vice is that he will resource guard his food around other dogs so should be separated when feeding if in a multi dog household. Is crate and potty trained, has basic obedience skills (sit, down, come, leave it, wait, off, out) but should not be left loose in the home unsupervised. Currently being fostered by WSA K9
