Our Board and Train Program at Wolf Song Acres K9 Academy offers comprehensive training solutions for dogs of all ages and breeds. We have three tailored options to suit your dog’s training needs: 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day programs.

30 Day Board and Train

In the first 30 days, your dog will learn essential obedience commands such as loose leash walking, sit, down, stay, come, wait, place, and leave it, all on a 6 ft leash. The initial two weeks involve intensive training at our facility, focusing on foundational behaviors. In the final two weeks, we gradually introduce your dog to public settings to reinforce obedience with added distractions, ensuring their skills are reliable in various environments.

60 Day Board and Train

Our 60-day option builds on the foundational training of the 30-day program. In the second 30 days, we work on enhancing your dog's ability to perform tasks with greater distractions and at increased distances. This includes commands like sit, down, stay, and recall from a 20 ft long line, along with mastering a solid heel position without the need for luring. We transition from using food or toy lures to relying on hand signals and verbal commands, both on and off our property, to ensure consistency and obedience in various settings.

90 Day Board and Train

The 90-day training program encompasses the comprehensive training from the 60-day program and adds advanced off-leash commands. Your dog will learn additional tasks such as stand, stand-stay, sit in motion, down in motion, front, finish, and center. This extensive training aims to achieve off-leash reliability, enhancing your dog's obedience and responsiveness in a wide range of situations.

Pricing

Daily Rate: $40 per day.
Weekly Rate: $250 per week (7 days).
Monthly Rate: $1000 per month (30 days).

Terms and Conditions

Owner Responsibilities:
- Food and Crate: Owners must bring their dog's own food and crate for the duration of the stay to ensure continuity and comfort for the dog.
- Health Requirements: Dogs must be up-to-date on deworming, vaccinations, and flea treatment. Owners need to provide proof of these at the time of drop-off.
Training and Care:
- Training Sessions: Dogs will receive daily training sessions tailored to their specific needs and goals, focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and any other requested training.
- Exercise and Play: In addition to training, dogs will have ample time for exercise, play, and socialization to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
Booking and Cancellation:
- Booking: Board and train programs must be booked in advance to ensure availability. A deposit may be required at the time of booking.
- Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date to avoid a cancellation fee equivalent to one week's rate.
